DESCRIPTION:Strong Voices is a girls empowerment group where we focus on building confidence, positive relationships and promote healthy living! It is our mission statement at Strong Voices to help girls find their passions, unique gifts, and talents so they can share them with the world. Our groups meet once a week for 8 weeks where we use arts and crafts, role plays/acting and exciting games to spend time discussing a specific topic such as social media, bullying, friendships and any issues going on in the girl world! It is also our goal to teach girls effective coping strategies so they are well equipped for anything thrown their way. Some of these practical skills include deep breathing techniques to help with stress, making mantras to help raise self-esteem, and using creativity to make our own “businesses.” Our groups also get to enjoy organizing a culminating talent show as well as designing our own Strong Voices t-shirt! We look forward to showing families, schools, and communities everything that Strong Voices has to offer!
